I also participate in a monthly conference call with integrative oncologists, functional medical doctors, Master Herbalists, acupuncturists, Nurse Practitioners and medical nutritionists, sponsored by the Mederi Foundation, to discuss the latest advancements in integrative oncology and medical nutrition therapy. This is an invaluable resource because through presentation of case studies for a variety of cancers, I am able to learn about treatment options and experiences from colleagues that enhance the protocols I develop for patients.
